There was a long tower with a platform at the very top with people on top and there was a boss of the tower. I was having a good time until a baby fell over and started crying. I then cheered the baby up and it was then smiling at me and crawling away. After that the baby crawled through the floor and traveled all the way to the bottom of the tower. The boss man was very worried and sent two people down there to retrieve the baby alive. However, I didn't trust these people and asked if I could go down instead. The boss handed me an instrument which let me give my reward, my punishment and the date in which I would retrieve the baby alive. It looked like a miniature piano or instrument. I then went down, and the boss man came with me. He seemed like a pretty cool dude. When I then reached the bottom, I saw that the baby was fine and was relieved, however the two people that went down to retrieve it (male and female), were both naked and were screaming. The boss man told me that we had to leave and that the baby getting back to the top of the tower was the only objective. I hesitantly agreed and was holding the baby as we were walking back up to the top of the tower, I then reached floor 16, and there was a sign that read to drop the baby from the 18th floor. I don't think the boss man saw the sign. When we then reached floor 18 there was a barrier that was restricting me to go up any higher. There was then a bright light as bright as the sun coming from the 18th floor telling me to drop the baby from the 18th floor and to trust him. The boss man stayed back and was cowering behind me. I had an instinct to trust and have faith in the bright light and dropped the baby back to the bottom of the tower. I remember crying the whole time and couldn't stop crying. After that, I then remember blacking out and waking back up on a peaceful beach crying again with my cousins playing in the water.
Dreams are often filled with symbolic imagery and emotions that relate to the dreamer's waking life, subconscious feelings, or unresolved issues. In your dream, there are several key elements that can be interpreted.
The Tower: Towers often symbolize goals, ambitions, or aspirations. Being at the top can represent success or achieving a high place in life, while the journey down signifies a fall from that position or a challenge to confront.
The Baby: Babies in dreams can represent vulnerability, innocence, new beginnings, or aspects of oneself that need care and protection. The falling baby suggests a situation or a part of your life that is in distress and requires attention.
The Boss: The boss likely represents authority figures in your life, whether they are real or symbolic. His presence suggests how you perceive authority—he is both a figure of protection (sending people down) and of challenge (his cool demeanor may contrast with the urgency of the situation).
Crawling and the Journey Down: The act of crawling could symbolize the slow and sometimes difficult progress you, or situations around you, make in life. Your trust issues with the other people sent to retrieve the baby indicate a lack of faith in some parts of your life or in others who may not have your best interests at heart.
The Instrument: The miniature piano may symbolize creativity and the ability to express your outcomes or decisions. It can also indicate that you have the power to shape your reality (reward/punishment) and a timeline for when events unfold.
The Light and the Barrier: The bright light symbolizing a voice of trust suggests a higher consciousness or intuition nudging you to make a difficult decision. The barrier could represent obstacles in your path or fear of proceeding further in your ambitions or decisions.
Crying and the Beach Scene: Crying in the dream indicates emotional release and possibly feelings of grief, guilt, or sorrow over decisions you’ve made or witnessed. The transition to a peaceful beach with family suggests a need for comfort and connection, indicating a desire to find peace amid emotional turmoil.
Overall, this dream appears to reflect a deep internal conflict regarding responsibility, trust, and the appropriate way to handle situations that involve vulnerability—whether that's your own or that of others. It suggests a solving journey of navigating authority, choices, fears, and emotional connections. The resolution on the beach indicates that while the journey has been difficult, there is comfort in familial connections, and solace is found in letting go and accepting what happens. Your subconscious might be encouraging you to find a balance between your responsibilities and your emotional needs.
